At AVL Shop, return eligibility depends on the product, its condition, and the applicable supplier requirements. Please review this policy before placing your order.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Returns and Product Condition

Returns for change of mind are subject to product eligibility and the applicable supplier's return conditions.

Products that have been opened, removed from their original manufacturer's packaging, unsealed, assembled, installed, used, or otherwise taken out of their original new condition are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns. This restriction may also apply where original packaging, seals, accessories, manuals, labels, or other included components are missing or damaged.

Products that remain unopened, unused, and in their original manufacturer's packaging may be considered for return, subject to product eligibility, supplier approval, and the applicable return conditions. A return is not guaranteed simply because a product remains unopened.

Some products may be non-returnable due to their nature or supplier restrictions. Any applicable product-specific restrictions will be communicated before purchase where required.

These conditions do not override any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law, including those relating to defective, damaged, incorrect, or misrepresented products.

How to Request a Return

Contact us at info@avlshop.ca before returning any product. Include your order number, product name, and reason for the request.

We will review the request and provide instructions if a return is eligible. Please do not ship an item back without receiving return instructions from our team.

Return Shipping Costs

The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including carrier charges, packaging, and any applicable freight or handling costs, for approved change-of-mind returns, unless we expressly agree otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

Because many products sold by AVL Shop are large or heavy, return shipping may require a separate carrier quote and can be expensive. The buyer should confirm the estimated return shipping cost before proceeding with a return.

Return shipping costs are not refundable for change-of-mind returns unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed by AVL Shop.

If an item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise covered by a legal remedy, the applicable resolution and responsibility for costs will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us as soon as possible if a product arrives damaged, appears defective, differs materially from its description, or is incorrect or missing components.

Email info@avlshop.ca with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where relevant. Retain the product, packaging, and included accessories until you receive further instructions.

We will review the issue and coordinate with the relevant supplier or carrier where necessary. Any available remedy will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product eligibility, availability, and applicable supplier conditions. Contact us before returning an item to confirm whether an exchange is available.

Exchanges cannot be guaranteed for every product.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at info@avlshop.ca, including your order number.

Cancellation may be possible before an order is processed or dispatched. However, products may be fulfilled directly by suppliers, and processing can begin shortly after an order is placed. Once processing or shipment has begun, cancellation may no longer be possible or may be subject to applicable supplier conditions and law.

If your order requires a separate shipping quote, contact us to discuss the available options before shipment proceeds.

Any approved cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

Refunds

If a return or cancellation is approved, we will communicate the applicable refund arrangements. Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise required or agreed.

Refund timing may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution. Where an eligible returned item must be received or inspected before a refund can be approved, we will explain the applicable process.
