Before you buy
- Requires a dedicated electrical circuit rated for either 120 VAC (15A or 20A breaker) or 240 VAC (15A or 20A breaker) wired by a licensed electrical contractor according to CSA C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code.
- Electrode technology requires natural mineral conductivity (3 to 36 grains per gallon); do not feed the unit with reverse osmosis, deionized, or ultra-pure water.
- The stainless steel steam dispersion tube requires vertical supply ductwork or a minimum horizontal clearance of 24 inches upstream of any elbows, turning vanes, or air filters.
- The 7/8-inch drain line discharges hot tempered water and must maintain continuous downward slope to an approved drain or high-temperature rated condensate pump (rated ≥ 160°F / 71°C).
