The Pentair IntelliFlo3® VSF 3.0 HP (model 011075) is a variable-speed pool pump for larger inground pools and systems with spa jets, water features or in-floor cleaning across Ontario residential pools. Optimized for Ontario Time-of-Use hydro savings. Set a flow target between 20 and 140 US gpm and the pump adjusts its own speed to keep it as the filter loads up, or run it at a fixed percentage of speed. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect it to the Pentair Pool app.

Before you buy
- The 3.0 HP model runs on 208–230 V only and needs its own GFCI-protected circuit. Pentair specifies installation by a qualified service professional under the electrical code and local rules.
- Canadian installations: Pentair requires the pump to be at least 3 m (9.8 ft) from the inside wall of the pool, and a solid copper bonding conductor of 6 AWG or larger.
- Leave at least 7.6 cm (3 in) of side and rear clearance and 15.2 cm (6 in) above the drive for service. Do not mount the pump more than 3.1 m (10 ft) above the pool water level, and keep it at least 0.9 m (3 ft) from a heater outlet.
- Keep a straight suction run of at least five pipe diameters before the pump inlet (for example 25.4 cm / 10 in on 2 in pipe), with no elbow directly on the inlet or outlet.
- The included union kit fits 2 in and 2.5 in pipe. For 3 in plumbing, order Pentair union kit 410029 separately.
- A 3.0 HP pump suits larger pools and higher-demand systems. Confirm pump size against your pool volume, plumbing and filter before ordering.

Frequently asked questions
What is the capacity of the strainer basket?
The pump features an extra-large strainer basket with an easy-open cam and ramp transparent lid that holds substantial debris before requiring manual cleanout.
How should the IntelliFlo3 be prepared for Canadian winter?
Turn off the electrical breaker. Remove the two thumb drain plugs at the bottom of the wet end, remove the strainer lid and basket, drain all water from the pump volute, and store the plugs inside the basket for spring startup.
