A wireless security and smart-home control panel with a 7 in touchscreen, Canadian version. The Resideo ProSeries PROA7PLUSCN is the Canadian model of the ProSeries PROA7PLUS all-in-one panel, formerly sold under the Honeywell Home name. It is the hub of a professionally installed alarm system. It connects to PROSiX wireless sensors, keypads and keyfobs, runs Z-Wave lights, locks and thermostats, and reports alarms to a monitoring station over Wi-Fi or LTE.

Before you buy
- This panel is designed for professional installation. Registration, programming and testing are done through Resideo's AlarmNet 360 platform, so it needs to be set up by a security company with an AlarmNet 360 account. That company also provides the monitoring and app service (Total Connect 2.0).
- Communication is through plug-in modules: PROWIFIZW (Wi-Fi and Z-Wave) and/or an LTE module (PROLTE-CN or PROLTE-A). Confirm which modules come with your system. Wi-Fi reporting and Alexa need a powered, connected router.
- Resideo requires the power supply to be plugged into a 24-hour unswitched outlet. It also requires a check by a qualified technician at least once every three years.
- Replacing an older wireless system? Existing 5800-series sensors can often be reused with the PROTAKEOVER module. Check Resideo's PROTAKEOVER compatibility chart for your sensors.
- In Canada, wiring must follow CSA C22.1 and CAN/ULC-S302; fire installations follow CAN/ULC-S540.
