A quiet, ENERGY STAR certified inverter pool pump that adjusts its own speed to hold your flow. The Moov Ai is a variable-speed, self-priming pool pump from Moov Pool Products, made in 1.25, 1.65 and 2.00 THP sizes. Run it at a set speed from 30% to 120%, or switch to Auto-Inverter (Pro) mode and it adjusts motor speed to keep your chosen flow rate as pipeline pressure changes. Wi-Fi control and a live power reading are built in.

- Inverter variable-speed motor — speed set from 30% to 120% in 5% steps; the 105–120% range helps against high pipeline pressure.
- Auto-Inverter (Pro) mode — set a target flow and the pump detects system pressure and adjusts its speed, for example as the filter loads up. The MP2AI also runs a 180-second self-learning routine to map your plumbing.
- Wi-Fi control and real-time power use — adjust speed or flow, timers and backwash from your phone, and see current power consumption on the display and in the app.
- Automatic self-priming — primes at each start (can be turned off) and can be installed up to 2 m (6.56 ft) above water level, with no-water and loss-of-prime protection.

Choosing a model
The MP15AIDV and MP165AIDV are dual-voltage and run on 115 V or 230 V; on 115 V their maximum flow is lower (see the table). The MP2AI runs on 220–240 V only and is the largest of the three.

Before you buy
- Connect only to a circuit protected by a Class A ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). A solid copper bonding conductor of at least 8 AWG is required when the motor is within 1.5 m (5 ft) of the pool, and the pump must be at least 1.8 m (6 ft) from the inside walls of the pool. Do not use an extension cord.
- For permanently installed pools only; Moov does not recommend it for storable pools that are taken apart for the winter.
- Mount the pump horizontally in a dry, ventilated spot with 150 mm (5.9 in) of clearance. Keep elbows at least 350 mm (13.8 in) from the inlet and use the supplied union kit.
- Winterizing: drain the pump and strainer housing, disconnect both unions, and store the pump indoors or cover it.
- Wi-Fi control needs a 2.4 GHz network. Moov specifies installation by an appropriate technician, such as an electrician.
- Pump sizing depends on pool volume, pipe runs and filter. Moov recommends confirming the model with a pool professional.

Shut off the electrical breaker. Remove the drainage plugs at the base of the wet end, disconnect the 2-inch union nuts, empty all water, and store the unit in a frost-free area or blow lines dry.
